Welcome to Wabash Valley Wolfhounds
Welcome! We are located in gorgeous Southern Illinois. Here at Wabash Valley Wolfhounds, we breed Irish Wolfhound puppies that meet current AKC standards. Over the last 30+ years we have raised several different dog breeds, but our love for the Irish Wolfhound is what has led us to breed these wonderful dogs. And wanting to preserve the breed.
Our wolfhounds have wonderful temperaments and are spoiled rotten babies. It’s common to find me at our lake camp with one riding in the golf cart or going on walks with me. They have 3 acres they get to run and play on. Though normally you will find them following me around or laying around, soaking up the sun if outside.
Wolfhounds are truly gentle giants and old souls. They make amazing pets. Tho they are quite large, they don’t require much space. They are the happiest when they are with you.
